Introduction to

12-Step programmes
Other 12-Step programmes
Members of CMA are encouraged to explore other 12-Step anonymous
fellowships. All 12-Step programmes use essentially the same
12 steps and principles, however meeting structures, diversity
of people attending, and locations vary. The ones that most
people dealing with problems relating to crystal meth use
find helpful are Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous
(AA).
CMA is a relatively new programme. It has been offered in
Toronto since 2005. The advantages to attending other 12-Step
fellowships include: the option of additional meetings, being
in an environment where there are likely to be speakers and
members with significant recovery time, greater experience
and potential candidates for sponsorship.
