It’s time for me to stop. I know I can’t just do it cold turkey, though.  I’m tempted to switch to coke and then try to taper off slowly.  A friend suggested I just smoke a lot of pot and offered to share his Xanax prescription with me.  Which of these is a better idea?

I have a friend who is a hard-core user… He slams Tina and I’m worried about him. He tells me about some of the scenes he gets into while slamming. He seems to fetishize unsafe sex now. He has described scenes including BDSM, scat, sharing blood and other extreme stuff. He says he wants to explore even more of his dark side but I’m not sure whether I can even listen to his tales anymore… but I don’t want to abandon him because we’ve been friends for a long time. What should I do?

It’s a shame none of you people really know anything about recovery.  The party is over when you start using crystal.  No one needs drugs have a fun and a successful life, using Crystal is a cope-out and your site simply continues to endorse safe using practices, which are impossible to maintain when people use meth.  I feel great sadness when people see a site like yours and therefore assume it’s okay to use drugs as long as their teeth aren’t falling out or they can no longer function at work.  Very sad indeed.  Perhaps you guys need to hear that gay men don’t need to use drugs to have a great life.  Period.  Very disappointing.

I just found out my friend is a ‘Meth Head.’ He came over to my place and told me he’s been using it for a year and a half. He's up to using 3-4 times a week. I had no idea. He just gave me his bank card and asked me to not let him do it. I'm freaked out.... What can I do to help him?

I swallowed Tina before and it kept me wired for a long time. Last weekend, a friend passed me a pipe and I tried smoking it. It kept me awake for a long time like before, but the buzz felt different. Do you think I did something else?

Crystal meth is not new. It was big in the 70s and now it is big again. Why should we be concerned?

Since beginning work on getting Tina out of my life, I have found that sometimes just thinking of the drug is a huge turn on. A guy online just sent me a hot email with the suggestion to hook up and PnP and I was instantly hard, body and mind. Can someone explain what this?
-Stuart

I had a horrible comedown with tina so I have sworn off of it. I haven’t done any in about 3 months. In it’s place, I occasionally (and I do mean occasionally) smoke rock instead. Unfortunately, I still associate sex with drugs and I find that rock is a similar experience to tina but I now I can sleep afterwards and still have an appetite. However, as we all know, rock has a terrible social stigma. I realize this is a “tina” website, but I already know a few guys, like myself, who are switching as I have to avoid tina at any cost. I’d love to know more about rock (I’m not even sure what’s in it) and how it compares to tina (physiological effects). Thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been living together for eight years. Last year we got into Tina but after several months decided the downsides weren’t worth it. We both agreed to stop but he can’t seem to. He lies more and more and life with him has become a roller coaster. I don’t know what is real anymore. I still love him and want to help him. How can I save my relationship?

I'm looking to cut down on my Tina use, which is basically 2x a month. I know it's bad for me. I don't think I can quit cold turkey because I'd still like to PnP with it sometimes. Is this possible or am I going to have to give it up and never go back?

I am HIV + and on meds. When I party on crystal, should I still take my meds? I wonder about the huge amount of powerful chems going into my body at the same time.

Using Tina has become an every weekend habit for me. I want to quit but am worried about what happens when the first weekend comes around. What will I do when it's Friday night and the urge to PnP hits?

It's estimated that between 6 and 22 percent of gay men in Toronto have used meth in the past year. Do you know of an accurate figure?

I’ve heard that crystal meth slows down the progression of HIV. I have been HIV positive for three years… If I started using crystal meth occasionally, could it help my HIV?

Just wondering how much it is to get a full sti test and where is your nearest test centre to downtown Toronto? Thanks.

I am an occasional user, party usually once sometimes twice a week. I am supposed to be getting a PSA and some other blood work done soon... will the blood work detect my use, and if yes, how long do I have to clean up to go under the radar?

I used to party a bit with crystal when we went to raves a few years ago but we always called crystal “jib”. Is Tina the same thing or is it something different?
